daily.dev Recruiter provides both recruiters and developers with control over their data. We comply with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations, which means you may request a copy of your data or ask for its deletion at any time.
Data export
Recruiters: May request an export of candidate data associated with their account. This includes candidate briefs, screening question responses, and integration records.
Developers: May request a copy of their personal data held by daily.dev.
Data deletion
Recruiters: May request deletion of candidate data linked to their account, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
Developers: May request deletion of their personal data at any time. When a developer requests deletion, their data will no longer be accessible to recruiters.
How to submit a request
Contact our support team via the Help Center or through your dedicated Slack/Teams onboarding channel.
Specify whether you are requesting an export or deletion.
We will verify your identity and confirm the request.
Processing time
Requests are typically completed within 30 days, in line with GDPR standards.
Urgent requests can be prioritized on a case-by-case basis.
Important:
Some data may need to be retained for compliance with legal obligations (e.g., tax or audit requirements). In these cases, we will explain what is retained and why.
FAQs
Q: Can developers delete their data even if they are mid-process for a role?
Yes. If a developer requests deletion, their data will be removed, and the recruiter will be notified that the candidate has withdrawn.
Q: Will deleting data affect reporting or analytics?
Yes. Deleted records are permanently removed from daily.dev systems and excluded from reports.
Q: Can recruiters export data directly from the platform?
Not yet. Exports are processed by our team on request.
