TL;DR

After you approve a role brief, we surface it inside daily.dev to matched developers. Screening questions are attached, developers opt in, and you begin receiving candidate briefs directly in Slack or Teams.

The flow after approval

  1. Role goes live

The approved brief and screening questions are published inside daily.dev.

  2. Smart Matching starts

Our system surfaces the role only to developers who fit by skills, interests, and career goals.

  3. Developer opt-in

Developers review the full role, answer screening questions, and confirm interest.

  4. Candidate brief delivered

You receive a concise profile with answers, stack highlights, and location details.

  5. Double opt-in intro

You confirm interest, and we introduce both sides via email.

Why this matters for recruiters

  • Clear timeline: You know exactly what happens between approval and intros.

  • High-signal candidates: Only developers who actively opted in reach you.

  • Efficient process: No wasted effort, just warm introductions.

Important:

No role is shown to developers without your approval. You are always in control of what goes live.
