TL;DR
Roles are flexible. If you need to change details or pause a search, just let us know in your dedicated Slack or Teams channel. We will update or pause the role immediately.
Editing a role
Post the changes in Slack or Teams (e.g. comp range, stack, location).
Our team updates the developer-facing role brief.
You review and approve the updated version before it goes live again.
Pausing a role
Tell us in Slack or Teams that you want to pause.
The role will be removed from developer visibility.
You can restart it later without losing context.
Why this matters for recruiters
Control: You decide what developers see and when.
Flexibility: Update roles as priorities shift.
Efficiency: No need to restart from scratch โ paused roles can be resumed.
Important:
No role is ever shown to developers without your approval. Edits always require confirmation before relaunch.
FAQs
Q: Can I change screening questions after launch?
Yes. New questions can be added or old ones edited, and developers will see the updated version.
Q: Do edits reset the matching process?
No. The updated brief is surfaced immediately to new and relevant developers.
Q: What happens to candidates who already opted in?
Their status does not change. You will still see their candidate briefs in Slack or Teams.
